Queen East hair salon looking to serve Japanese highballs and whisky
Queen East’s Album Hair salon has applied for a liquor license with the intention of serving guests reds, whites, Prosecco, champagne, whisky, and Japanese highballs.
As long as everything runs smoothly, the spot hopes to be serving this spring.
Which means that there’s a good chance haircuts are about to get a lot more fun.

“Having owned Dat Salon for 10 years made me realize that our guest(s) were in our establishment for over an hour getting their hair colour. So when it came to designing Album Hair, I wanted to incorporate a more relaxing experience and being able to provide an adult beverage would help,” Dat Tran, owner of Album told Daily Hive.

Tran also noted that when guests are accompanied to appointments by friends or loved ones, it can be a more enjoyable experience for everyone when bevvies are involved.
For the highballs, the spot plans to import their soda from Japan, and they’ll be serving vintage Japanese whisky.
