
Whether they know it yet or not, a lottery player in Canada just became a brand new multimillionaire after winning the massive Lotto Max jackpot.
The draw took place on Friday, March 28, and the numbers were 07, 13, 33, 40, 44, 49, 50, and bonus 32. Someone matched the seven winning numbers to win the $65-million top prize.
“For the fourth consecutive time this year, the Lotto Max jackpot has been won in Ontario!” reads a statement from OLG. The winning ticket was sold in the town of Newmarket.
Another lottery player will be taking home the Lotto Max second prize worth $265,405.10 after they matched six of the seven winning numbers and the bonus number. According to PlayNow, the ticket was sold in Western Canada.

The third prize will be split among 70 people who matched six of the winning numbers. Each of the winners will receive $3,791.50.
There were eight Maxmillions prizes to be won during the draw, and only one person won the $1-million prize. The lucky ticket was sold in Quebec.
No one won the $500,000 Lotto Max Extra prize in B.C., and similarly, no one in Ontario won the Encore prize worth $1 million.
The last time someone won the jackpot was on Feb. 21, when a lottery player matched the winning numbers 03, 05, 08, 25, 29, 32, and 43. According to OLG, the ticket was sold in Oshawa, Ont. That jackpot was worth $40 million.
The next Lotto Max draw is on April 1, and the jackpot is worth $17 million.
