You better plan on stocking up on booze by Sunday evening, because the LCBO and the Beer Store will both be closed on Canada Day this year.
While some had hopes that the LCBO may open their doors for the national holiday, as they did last year, it turns out that won’t be the case this time around.

While main stores will be closed, those living in areas with LCBO Convenience Outlets may be in luck.
“Where permitted by local municipalities, some LCBO Convenience Outlets may observe their normal hours of business on Canada Day,” reads a statement from the company.
There is no list of which Convenience Outlets will be available on July 1, however, so it’s recommended that you reach out to the one in your neighbourhood to inquire about holiday hours.
So ensure you run those boozy errands and fill your cooler with all the tall boys you need by the time these stores close on Sunday.
Just don’t forget to stay hydrated and enjoy responsibly.
