Renowned designer who's worked with Taylor Swift teases Toronto Maple Leafs collab

The Toronto Maple Leafs — or at least somebody close to them — appear to be working with a celebrity designer for an upcoming project.

Earlier this week, for Game 1 of their opening-round matchup against the Ottawa Senators, multiple partners of the Leafs players were spotted wearing matching customized jackets, as has become an annual tradition.

And it appears that they might be stepping up their game further on in the playoffs, if a recent social media tease is to be believed.

Designer Kristin Juszczyk, who has gained fame over the last few years for her work within the NFL and throughout pro sports, shared a sneak peek at a Leafs-inspired jacket on her Instagram story on Tuesday.

Juszczyk’s most viral moment came in January 2024, when she designed a jacket for Taylor Swift to be worn at a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game, supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

As to be expected, Taylor’s get-up made international headlines and drew quite the attention to Juszczyk, who now has over a million followers on Instagram.

“She single-handedly changed my career. I feel like I owe her everything, truly,” Juszczyk told Page Six Style back in 2024 about Swift. “It was such a pinch-me moment seeing her wear something of mine, and it just completely changed the trajectory of everything that I was doing. She opened up so many doors for me. And she looked amazing!”

Juszczyk is married to San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who has appeared in two Super Bowls with his time with the team. In an odd twist of fate, it’s actually been Kelce’s Chiefs that have defeated him in both of his appearances in the championship game.

While we don’t quite know what the final product will look like — or who will wear it — it will surely garner some more headlines once the project is unveiled.
