In one of the biggest games in franchise history, the Toronto Raptors’ best player came up big when his team needed him the most.
Up 91-90 with just over a minute left to play in the fourth quarter, the ball was in Kawhi Leonard’s hands. With the shot clock winding down, Leonard threw up a step-back three pointer over the outstretched hand of 7-footer Joel Embiid.
Dagger.
Kawhi sunk the shot as part of his 39-point afternoon, giving the Raptors a four-point lead and the 76ers never got close the rest of the way.

It was the best moment of the series for Raptors fans watching back home in Jurassic Park – and the celebrations were epic.

Kyle Lowry called the game a “must-win” beforehand and vowed to be better. He was, scoring 14 points, to go along with seven assists and six rebounds. Instead of returning home facing elimination, the Raptors have evened the series and taken back home court advantage.
