A holiday-themed cocktail and beer festival is coming to Toronto

Nov 27 2019, 6:12 pm

Get ready for Toronto to welcome a one-stop-shop for all your holiday cocktail and beer sampling needs.

On December 3, Hoppy Holidays will take over Berkeley Church, offering the chance to get holly and jolly while you taste all the festive, boozy bevvies you can bare.

Located at 315 Queen Street East, the event will be complete with seasonal brews, one-off creations, and festive beer cocktails.

And while beers are the main focus of the evening, there will be plenty of other drink options featuring vodkas, ciders, gins, Caesars, and much more.

Participating vendors include, but aren’t limited to, Batch Toronto, Big Rock Brewery, Brickworks Ciderhouse, Mill Street Brewery, Muskoka Brewery, Walter Caesar, and Meatsmiths.

As for food? Berkeley’s culinary team will be whipping up eats that’ll pair perfectly with the brews available. You can count on at least one gluten-free option, and one veggie option too.

And of course, in true holiday celebration fashion, the night will take on an “ugly Christmas sweater” theme. Guests who don the holiday-themed sweaters will be eligible to win boozy prizes, so ensure you raid your closet.

Tickets for the event will cost $20 in advance and $30 at the door, but be wary… tickets sold out in advance in 2016, 2017, and 2018. As such, you may want to grab yours early.

Vouchers, valued at $2 each, will be available for food and drink, and cash and credit will be accepted.
