There's a magical Harry Potter-themed festival and train ride near Toronto this week

Grab your robes and broomsticks, muggles, because a Harry Potter-themed festival is crashing its broomstick just outside of Toronto this weekend.

The one-day-only event on October 26 will bring the wizarding world to life at Uxbridge’s York-Durham Heritage Railway. Prepare to be captivated by interactive shows, potions classes, magic shows, and workshops on how to defend yourself against the Dark Enemy.

Post-festival, premium ticket holders will hop onto the Hallows Express, where a journey to GOODWOODORA Prison will lead to a mission involving the transport of evil sorcerers.

If you want to be a part of the train ride, the magic mission, and all the whimsical fun leading up to it, you can get your ticket now. And ensure you come in costume — you don’t want anyone to know if you’re a secret muggle walking among the crowd.

The event is family-friendly, and there will be a 19+ area where you can get your fill of wizards’ brew, too.

Three cheers for Butterbeer!
