Gord Downie surprises fans at Blue Rodeo's Massey Hall concert (VIDEO)

So echoes one of Canada’s most famous refrains from beloved band Blue Rodeo.

So it was a very special moment when one of Canada’s most favourite sons, Gord Downie, joined Blue Rodeo last night at Massey Hall to sing “Lost Together” with them in front of a surprised crowd.

With the help of lyrics scrawled across a broken page, Downie brought his powerful emotion to the music once again, waving and blowing kisses to the crowd, and embracing his Canadian brothers on stage.

A beautiful moment for everyone.

“And I want all the world to know
That your love’s all I need…”
