Ontario Premier Doug Ford is scheduled to make an announcement about long-term care on Monday.
The premier will speak from North Bay and will be joined by Minister of Long-Term Care Rod Phillips and Local MPP Vic Fedeli. Phillips recently rejoined the cabinet after he wast ousted last year over a controversial Carribbean vacation during the pandemic.
North Bay is about a four hour drive north of Toronto, and the politicians will speak about expanding the Water’s Edge Care Community home there.
