The CNE starts today and per annual tradition, there are loads of freak-ish foods on offer on the midway and in The Food Building. Check out our round-up to see the most epic (and obscene) eats for 2017.

The 2017 Canadian East Coffee Championship takes place in Toronto this weekend offering free-to-attend networking events, and coffee tasting sessions around Toronto. The marquee event is the East Qualifiers for the Canadian Barista Championship, the winner of which will advance to the Nationals.

The culinary carnival promises three days of culinary delights with a family-friendly summer music festival vibe.

Opening weekend at The Ex kicks off with the CNE’s first-ever East Coast Kitchen Party, a toe-tapping, oyster shucking party featuring food truck eats and Craft beers, East Coast wine, Newfoundland Screech.

This berry special edition of the Brick Works’ weekend market will see 20+ food producers, preserves, bakers, and chefs highlight this delicious super fruit in products and dishes.

Three hundred east side beer enthusiasts will raise a glass at The Broadview Hotel at this inaugural event taking place Sunday, August 20 in the newly opened event space, Lincoln Hall.
