Just when you need them the most.
Some food delivery apps have suspended service due to the treacherous weather conditions in Toronto right now.
Like duh. That’s why we’re ordering delivery in the first place.
While Skip The Dishes is cautioning that delivery is “temporarily unavailable in some areas” due to poor driving conditions, and Foodora warns that fewer restaurants than usual are offering delivery, UberEats has altogether paused ordering and posted a note explaining that demand for UberEats is exceptionally high due to current weather conditions and service has been suspended to help restaurants and delivery partners catch up.
Hopefully, the weather lets up before Toronto households run out of provisions because you can’t even get McDonald’s delivered at the moment.
