Whatever you have planned this week, you’re going to want to do it outside as Toronto is going to experience a serious warm-up.

According to Environment Canada, Toronto is in store for some glorious sunshine during the first official week of spring.

The sunny days begin this Monday, with a high of 4°C and a mix of sun and clouds on the forecast. Tuesday will follow suit with an increasingly warmer high of 6°C.

The first day of spring will still remain above freezing, with a high of 5°C expected on Wednesday, however, there is a chance of flurries or rain showers throughout the day.

But hey, we’ll take it over negative temperatures any day.

The sunshine and climbing temperatures resume on Thursday and will continue for the rest of the week, with the weekend capping off with a high of 10°C and sunshine.

Not a bad way to start the new season, if we do say so ourselves.

However, you chose to spend your weekend, get outside and enjoy the warm weather and make the most of the arrival of spring.

And if you’re still unsure of what to do, there are always plenty of heated patios in the city to hit up.
