Toronto’s Little India neighbourhood will host a massive Festival of South Asia this summer.
The annual street festival is a showcase of South Asian community and culture, and it’s returning to Gerrard Street East on July 13 and 14.
Among the many highlights this year, festival-goers can look forward to a Bollywood Dance Energizer!
There will also be sidewalk sales and tasting tables hawking delicious eats spanning the gamut of kebabs, curries, and chaat, to dosa, pani puri, pakoras, and more!
- Famous Taiwanese milkshake bubble tea chain opening 3 GTA locations
- Popular noodle chain offering pay-what-you-can meals July 7
- All-you-can-eat tacos are landing in Toronto on July 10
Also on the bill is live entertainment including dancing, fashion shows, and authentic South Asian cultural programs reflecting Indian, Afghani, Pakistani, Bengali, and Sri Lankan cultures.
The festival is free to attend, and promises “two full days of delicious, exhilarating, family-friendly, culturally-rich, outdoor fun.”
