Now that the countdown to Christmas is officially on, one of the world’s leading toy stores is holding a series of festive pop-ups to get Torontonians into the holiday spirit.
Ahead of the upcoming holiday season, FAO Schwarz will host holiday activities over three weekends at key Hudson’s Bay flagship stores over the coming weeks.

Since 1862, FAO Schwarz has been selling extraordinary, one-of-a-kind toys from all over the world. And for the second year in a row, the iconic toy brand will have a presence in Canada for the holiday season.
Here’s what the beloved toy brand has planned:
Week 1: Drumming lessons
Parents will have the opportunity to sign their kids up for one of three drumming sessions where they will have the opportunity to learn basic fundamentals of rhythm on an FAO Schwarz Toy Drum and get to take home a special prize.

Week 2: Holiday Photo Booth and Card Making
Kiddos can come by the pop-up and make their own custom holiday cards at the FAO Schwarz arts and crafts station, and take a festive picture in the photo booth.

Week 3: DIY Ornaments
Families can come in and make their own custom Christmas ornaments at this DIY workshop.
