Free lunchtime Yoga at the Sony Centre continues this week as part of their community programs. Bring your own towel, and register to ensure your spot!

Free Barre Fitness

Barre is all the rage these days. Barre Fitness classes are a blend of pilates, dance, cardio and core strength training. Around the World

Toronto’s International Festival of Authors continues, and today, the IFOA takes you around the world. For an hour and a half you will be transported to three continents and nine countries with readings by Mireia Calafell, David Coventry, Hideo Furukawa, Norbert Gstrein, Nicola Lagioia, David Machado, Eduard Márquez, Siân Northey, Clemens J. Setz, Maja Vidmar, and Rohan Wilson.

Art Battle – Toronto

Art Battle is live competitive painting! Painters create the best work they can in 20 minutes. As they work, patrons move around the easels, closely watching the creative process. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools allowed are brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. At the end of the round, the audience votes democratically for their favourite painting and bids in silent auction to take the work home.

Japandroids

Vancouver born rockers Japandroids are on the road this month and will be performing a set at Toronto’s Massey Hall, including tracks from the duo’s latest record, Near To The Wild Heart Of Life.
