My friends, Doug Ford “was the clear winner” of Sunday night’s leaders debate, according to the Ontario PC Party.
But while opinions may differ (immensely) from such statements, the debate did birth a new drinking game for this new Doug Ford era.
My friends, this drinking game comes just days following Ford’s announcement to bring buck-a-beer to Ontario, because clearly beer is the biggest concern in the province right now.
While beers aren’t that cheap yet, it didn’t stop the Twittersphere from enjoying the new drinking game, which we’ll call, “my friends.”
If you watched the debate, my friends, you would have noticed how Doug Ford addresses the viewers. If you didn’t, don’t worry, he tweets it out the same way.
“My friends, you know me. I am for the little guy – I am for the people. My plan will reduce your hydro rates by 12%, put money back into your pocket, create great paying jobs & get rid of hallway health care.”#onpoli #ONelxn #ONdebate

And so, Ontarians began enjoying the debate the only way we could.

And this phenomenon isn’t new, my friends.
The Doug Ford drinking game began after the first debate, and if the polls are still accurate, the PCs have a lead in Ontario right now.
Which means, if Ford is voted in as a leader, this game could really take off.
The Ontario Election is on June 7. Be sure to vote, my friends.
