Recall issued for Dole brand baby spinach due to possible Listeria contamination

Dole Fresh Vegetables Inc. is recalling of Dole brand Baby Spinach with Tender Reds according to a food safety warning issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The affected product was sold in Ontario, the maritime provinces, and possibly nationally, features a best-before date of August 04, 2018 and can be identified by the UPC code 0 71430 06069 8.

It’s being recalled due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consumers are being warned that they should not consume the recalled product.

While there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product, the recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results.
