If you like your burgers with a side of major talent, you would’ve enjoyed a recent visit to Brampton’s Sonny’s Drive In.
Because superstar Toronto Raptor Danny Green and comedian Russell Peters just stopped into the joint and enjoyed some eats at the picnic tables outside.

Two images were shared on the eatery’s Facebook page last night, alongside the caption “Champions and comedians all have to get their Sonny’s fix.”
One showed the two namesakes posing inside the eatery, holding poutine and a classic cup with a swirl-embossed straw. The other shows the two dining outside, with a camera crew set up at the end of their table.
The company of cameras has spectators wondering: was this visit more than just a meal between friends?
One Facebook comment speculates that Green is “shooting a new show” with Peters.
A show that involves humour, slam-dunks, and excellent burgers? We’ll bite.
