The fifth biennial event returns this year with a special artist talk by dance icon and 2019 Dance Hall of Fame inductee Louise Lecavalier, alongside a screening of the recent documentary ‘Louise Lecavalier – In Motion.’

Attendees can anticipate five world premieres — from Sashar Zarif, DA Hoskins/The Dietrich Group, Molly Johnson, Kylie Thompson Dance, and the newly formed collective Seeking Bridge — and eight Toronto premieres.

The festival unfolds across three curated Mainstage programs, a lottery-based platform titled “What You See Is What You Get” (WYSIWYG), and an ancillary Arts Encounters program that exhibits photography, media art, and more, created by dance artists.

While the event is in town, you can attend performances and participate in classes and workshops.
