Drivers should prepare for a messy commute across Toronto tonight
Those driving home today should plan accordingly, as Toronto is still under the freezing rain warning during the evening commute.
And according to Environment Canada, “challenging travelling conditions are likely due to the potential for untreated surfaces to become icy.”

Toronto Police and the City of Toronto are advising commuters to reduce speed and use caution.

Some TTC routes are also affected by the weather at this time.

Earlier today, drivers were also being advised to avoid a portion of Spadina Avenue because of flooding.
According to police, two lanes at the base of Spadina Avenue and the Gardiner Expressway ramp are currently inaccessible due to flooding.
Overall, give yourself some time, and be patient while commuting home later this evening.
