Stocking up on all your needs for a boozy night is about to get a lot more accessible.

Because Toronto’s beloved bar and cocktail supply shop, Cocktail Emporium, is gearing up to open a location inside Union Station.

Projected to open early next year, the shop will be located in the Front Street Promenade on the station’s lower level.

The announcement about the new location comes shortly after the shop’s re-brand, shifting from BYOB to Cocktail Emporium, and an eye-catching aesthetic that you can’t miss.

“My passion for beautiful, interesting barware and quality cocktail ingredients led me to open my first store in Toronto seven years ago. I feel so fortunate that people have loved what we do so much that we’ve been able to expand and take Cocktail Emporium to the next level,” said Kristen Voisey, founder of Cocktail Emporium in a release.

The new location is expected to offer a dynamic, contemporary shopping experience for visitors to shop through. In addition to classic cocktail supplies, the hub is a place to find eco-friendly straws, offering a wide range of biodegradable paper straws as well as reusable stainless steel and glass straws.

Until the new shop opens in 2020, you can stock up at the brick-and-mortar locations at 972 Queen Street West and 20 Kensington Avenue, or online.

The new shop aligns with the ongoing revitalization of Union Station, which includes additions to the Front Street Promenade location to include a mix of local, independent vendors.

Retailers currently include Peace Collective, The Detox Market, Pilot Coffee Roasters and Calii Love, among others.

“Being a part of the Union Station Front Street Promenade space is truly an honour. I love that they are creating this vibrant area filled with homegrown brands and retailers — it’s a brilliant idea and use of space, and it lets visitors to our city get a true taste of Toronto’s diversity and talent as soon as they step off a train,” said Voisey.
