Original Parkdale Boy, former executive chef at Parts and Labour, and tattooed ray of sunshine Matty Matheson is bringing Toronto the perfect event to end the summer.

MATTYFEST, presented by the Toronto-based chef, will land at RBC Echo Beach on September 7.

The afternoon-to-evening event will serve up fierce food, refreshing drinks, and all the music you need to fuel a proper September Saturday in the sun.

The full menu will be released soon, so keep an eye out. Tickets will go fast.

There will also be Special Experience tickets available that feature a meet and greet in advance of the festival, plus exclusive merch.

Tickets are available August 1, with pre-sales beginning on July 30. The festival will be all-ages, rain-or-shine, and kids under 12 get in free!

“MATTYFEST started out in the basement of Parts & Labour as a joke festival for my birthday weekend. This time it’s a lot more than that. I want to share the love I have for my city – for all of you!” said Matheson, in a release.
