There’s more than one way to make a paws-itive impact for Toronto’s four-legged and furry community.

Toronto Animal Shelters have announced that they’re hosting their first ever cat food drive at locations across the city.

Held in partnership with Fred Victor Community Support Services, the initiative asks for donations of unopened cat food made to any of the city’s shelters where staff will then make sure the food makes it to cats in need.

Torontonians can drop off donations at the following shelter locations, open seven days a week from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm (except on statutory holidays, Remembrance Day and Easter Monday.)

West Shelter
146 The East Mall, Toronto

North Shelter
1300 Sheppard Avenue West, North York

East Shelter
821 Progress Avenue, Scarborough
