Last year, Casa Loma was recognized as one of the best historic sites in the province.
This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, because in addition to being a historical landmark, museum and event space, the iconic castle can also classify itself as an upscale dining destination, a terrifying haunted house, and even as a magical holiday attraction.
And this holiday season, the castle will be transforming into a classic tale.
According to the popular Toronto establishment, this year’s Casa Loma winter theme is A Nutcracker Christmas at the Castle.
The annual event will include a wide range of activities and thrilling performances that are sure to be fun for the whole family.
This holiday season, visitors can look forward to new shows by famed illusionist entertainer Professor Wick and ice skating performers Glisse on Ice.
Visitors can also experience the magic of the holidays throughout the castle, which will be decked out in festive décor, including a 40-ft-tall tree in the Great Hall and eight other signature trees by talented Canadian designers.
Additionally, the little ones can visit Santa in his castle workshop and participate in festive arts and crafts, visit with wintery holiday mascots, decorate tasty treats, and much more.
Guest can also enjoy the magic of the Casa Loma at night from December 17 to 23, as they wander through the dazzling lights display in the gardens and experience all of Casa Loma’s holiday festivities.
There will also be an outdoor holiday Christmas Market and performances by the Casa Loma Holiday Orchestra to enjoy at night.
