The Canadian Automobile Association has been named the most trusted brand in Canada, by the University of Victoria’s Peter B. Gustavson School of Business.
The Gustavson Brand Trust Index measures the relationship between brand and performance, social equity, and trust and advocacy for brands in Canada.
The index used a statistically representative sample of 6,342 consumers to rate 299 Canadian companies and brands.
“Trust is an important driver of consumer purchasing decisions,” says Saul Klein, dean of the Gustavson School of Business, in a release.
“Our index highlights the continued success of some of Canada’s best-known brands, but it also serves to highlight the impact of failing to meet consumer expectations and the rebound of brands who have faltered on consumer trust in the past.”
This year, CAA took the top spot from Mountain Equipment Co-Op, which was last year’s front-runner. Look belong to see who else made Canada’s most trusted brands.
