
An 18-year-old male camp counsellor has been charged with allegedly inappropriately touching a six-year-old female at a week-long summer camp.
According to Durham Regional Police, the alleged incident happened on Tuesday, August 20, at a reptile zoo facility in Whitby.

The six-year-old female victim was enrolled in a week-long summer camp when the single incident occurred.
According to police, when the accusation came forward, the facility was notified and the employee was immediately suspended from work and camp administrators have co-operated fully with the investigation.
Following the incident, 18-year-old Quinn McGrath of Oshawa has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference. Police say he has been held for a bail hearing.
