Good news is coming for those who enjoy indulging in a sweet treat on the go.

Because Cake Boss’ Carlo’s Bake Shop, which recently dropped three line-drawing cake vending machines into the PATH, has announced plans to bring even more of the devices to Toronto next year.

According to a spokesperson, the city can expect to see 12 more ATMs arrive in early 2020.

Featuring cakes from the New Jersey bakery, the ATMs allow you to tuck into decadent slices (and soon, a spokesperson told Daily Hive, full cakes) at the touch of a button.

The cake dispensing ATM was created by Express Retail Group Inc., who specializes in “automated retail,” in collaboration with the beloved bakery.

Right now, you’ll find three locations throughout the PATH: at Richmond-Adelaide Centre, Royal Bank Plaza, and Waterpark Place.

Each Cake ATM can hold 160 slices, and eight full cakes, which are restocked daily from Monday to Friday. They currently offer the shop’s most popular flavours, including Rainbow, Red Velvet, Chocolate Fudge, and Carrot for $8.99 a slice.

Once full cakes come on board, they’ll be available from $39.99 to $44.99.

The kiosks themselves guarantee freshness, offering a temperature-controlled environment where the cakes can await your eager hands.

The locations in the Toronto PATH are set to stick around long-term, with new flavours being mixed in to keep passerby’s surprised by ever-changing options.
