While it’s not a far jump for alcohol producers to turn to the distribution of hand sanitizer, one Toronto woodworking company is making the leap, too.
Bread&Butter Designs has announced the transition to producing and delivering hand-sanitizer, contact-free, within the GTA.
The formula is a 65% alcohol solution, and the company is offering contact-free delivery to anyone who is quarantined, has a disability, is elderly, or is “just plain scared to leave the house.”
For details on pricing and instructions on how to place an order, the company asks you to message them on Instagram.
If you’d rather send sanitizer elsewhere, you can set that up too — Bread&Butter will deliver to the hospital of your choice, so long as it’s within the GTA.

“In order to ensure everyone’s well-being we have instructed our delivery team to contact-free porch and curbside deliveries only,” reads a post on the company’s page.
“We will not enter your home, condo lobby, or business for any reason.”
The company says that both customers and delivery personnel are expected to practice physical distancing of six feet, or two metres, at all times.
