There's a gingerbread house contest at a local craft brewery next month

The holidays are the most wonderful time for a beer! To get you feeling even more jolly, why not make a gingerbread house while you drink?

On Friday, December 6, Big Rock Brewery will be hosting a Gingerbread House Making Contest inside their bottle shop at Liberty Commons.

Tickets, $20, are available online and include one welcome beer, all your gingerbread-house-making supplies, and holiday-themed live music.

The event will take over the space from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, which is just enough time to bolster the start of your weekend with some extra holly jolly fun.

The brewery will also be collecting canned goods for the food bank — you’re encouraged to bring what you can.
