Toronto is getting a new games bar that will have indoor cornhole toss

Winter is coming… which is no big deal for Toronto. This city excels at indoor fun.

Soon to join the thriving mix of licensed arcades and lawn game halls, the folks behind Track & Field Bar are expanding their empire of cocktail-fueled rec rooms with the opening of Bangarang.

While an opening date has yet to be announced, owners Nickie Minshall, Dustin Keating (owners of Track & Field, Pray Tell) Jesse Borg, and Tasha Potter (GM and Events Manager at Track & Field, respectively) are hoping to open by the end of September, if not early October.

Once open, the new 3,000 square foot space in Toronto’s Little Italy neighbourhood will offer a capacity up to 200 or so guests filled with obscure billiards games like Sjoelen (AKA Dutch Shuffleboard), Rebound, and more, along with two full lanes of Cornhole, a classic backyard bean bag toss game.

Expect DJs and dancing, plus lots of fun parties where tap cocktails are the main attraction at the bar. “Hallowe’en is already in the works,” shares Minshall in an email to Daily Hive.
