A man has been charged with attempted murder after striking a cyclist with an object, causing him to fall.
According to Toronto Police, it’s reported that on Friday, April 5, at 11:46 pm, a man was riding his bicycle in the area of Yonge Street and Wedgewood Drive.
At that time, for reasons unknown, an unidentified suspect struck the man with an object, causing him to fall off the bike on to the ground.

The suspect fled the scene, and the cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries.
On Sunday, police said they arrested 40-year-old Sang Hyun Jun of Toronto and charged him with attempt murder.
Investigators are still asking for anyone with information about this case or who may have CCTV footage of the area, including dash-camera footage, to contact them.
