The circus is coming to Toronto’s waterfront this summer… literally, this circus is performing on the lake.
Aqua Cirque, “an enchanting and colourful show” from A2D2 ~ Aerial Dance Cirque Co. will be performing at the Redpath Waterfront Festival, presented by Billy Bishop Airport in June.
Landing at the same site graced by the World’s Largest Rubber Duck last year, Torontonians can look forward to seeing surfing hula hoop artists, nautical contortionists, and H2O themed aerialists while taking in the festival that will also feature a renowned tall ship, family fun zone, and an artisan market stocked with things to eat and locally-made products from 50 bakers, chefs, and artisans.
As if the weekend festival isn’t already packed with loads of things to do, see, and eat, attendees can also check out the Wine & Spirit Festival – an event celebrating 10 years in Toronto this year. It will showcase international and local wines, craft beers, and cocktails along with live music and entertainment.
