Amausaan Uji Matcha dessert house is opening its first Toronto location

International dessert house Amausaan Uji Matcha is opening its first Toronto location.

Going in on Dundas Street West in Chinatown, the incoming chain already boasts locations across China and in Indonesia, and now its making move into North America.

Specializing in traditional Japanese desserts, expect the menu to showcase a range of matcha-flavoured favourites including soft serve, millie crepe cakes, gradient cheesecakes, and more. Not to mention seasonal features showcasing sakura each spring.

While an opening date is still TBA, the shopfront for the first Toronto location appears close to completion.
