Toronto adidas locations offering discount on new Stan Smith sneaker

If you’re looking for a new pair of sneakers at an even better price, adidas locations in Toronto might have just what you need.

The brand with three stripes recently relaunched the Stan Smith, one of its most iconic silhouettes. This time, however, adidas has constructed the sneaker with Primegreen, a series of recycled materials. In addition to the upper portion of the shoe consisting of 50% recycled content, the outsole also repurposes rubber waste.

To kick off the brand’s new initiative, adidas is offering a serious discount on the waste-friendly model — all you have to do is trade in your trash.

Toronto residents are invited to bring in and donate their white and green plastic bottle caps as a way to help end plastic waste.

Anybody who does will receive a 25% in-store discount on the brand’s new Stan Smith silhouettes.

Plastic bottle caps will be accepted at the following three locations:

• Adidas Original Store Markham, Markville Mall
• Adidas Store Toronto, Dundas Street East
• Adidas Originals Store Toronto, Queen Street West

The promotion is in effect from now until March 31.
