Summer may be winding down, but Ontario Place is still celebrating our favourite season.

Over the upcoming long weekend, Active Ontario will be kicking off with free events to get you feeling active and staying healthy with a variety of activities, programming and entertainment.

Events over the weekend will include musical performances, rock climbing, ParaSport Ontario Volleyball, Zen Dogs Wellness, breakdancing, a drone light show, and everyone can take a moment of relaxation at the new Trillium Park and William G. Davis Trail.

“This long weekend, I encourage everyone to visit Ontario Place for its last Ontario150 festival of the summer. The Active Ontario festival will be a wonderful opportunity for people to celebrate a great summer by getting out and learning more about active living, while also participating in fun activities for all ages,” said Eleanor McMahon, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport in a release.

Taking place on the West Island, Ontario Place encourages visitors to get into the spirit of the Active Ontario festival and bike, walk, or jog to the event.
