Looking to furnish your dorm? In need of unique accents to complement all the Ikea in your home? On the hunt for a unique showpiece? The Aberfoyle Antique Market is just the ticket!

Aberfoyle bills itself as Canada’s oldest AND largest outdoor antique market featuring 100+ weekly vendors. It’s open to the public from 8 am to 4 pm on Sundays from April 30 to October 29, but twice a year (spring and fall), Aberfoyle hosts special Saturday events that attract pickers and antique dealers from across Southern Ontario.

The special edition this autumn takes place September 23 and is well worth the road trip. Over 90 additional vendors will join the season regulars for a day of antique hunting.

The grounds are dog-friendly and there’s a restaurant and creamery on site to help fuel the hunt, haggling, and with luck hauling. Admission is just $2 at the Sunday markets, though you’ll pay a $6 premium to get in the gates at the special edition happening in September.

Go early and get first dibs on solid furniture and obsolete electronics, old school steamer trunks, vintage cookware, retro textiles, jewelry, artwork, and more.
