What to eat in and around Seattle today: Drunken Chicken

Apr 28 2021, 8:26 pm

Hainanese chicken rice is truly a meal from the gods, and Drunken Chicken makes it best. Well, at least one of the best in Seattle, that is.

The restaurant offers an authentic style of Hainan chicken rice, marinating their chicken in premium rice wine.

In addition to serving traditional chicken, they serve “Classic Khoa Mun Gai style,” which is poached chicken served with seasoned herb rice and house chicken broth.

If you don’t eat meat, don’t worry, Drunken Chicken has a meal for you too: organic non-GMO tofu.

For dessert, Drunken Chicken has teamed up with Nit Thai Dessert to offer seasonal specialties such as durian sticky rice, mango sticky rice, pandan sticky rice, and jackfruit sticky rice.

Drunken Chicken is currently open for takeout and delivery from Thursday through Sunday from 4 to 8 pm.
