Washington reports over 1,600 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll has reached 4,388 after announcing 72 more deaths on February 3.
According to the Washington State Department of Health website, there have been 1,602 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the past 24 hours.
Negative test results data from November 21-30, 2020, and January 5 through today, are incomplete. Thus, negative test results and percent positivity should be interpreted with caution.
This brings the state’s confirmed total to 316,294 with 720 current hospitalizations, 83 of whom are intubated.
The United States’ total death toll now sits at 461,603.
