Washington reports over 2,000 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll is 2,519 after announcing 12 new deaths since Thursday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Department of Health Website, there have been 2,142 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.
This brings the state’s confirmed total to 125,498 with 608 current hospitalizations, 121 of which are intubated.
The United States’ total death toll now sits at 249,973.
