Washington confirms three more coronavirus deaths as cases near 22,800

The Washington government revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll has reached 1,138, after announcing three more deaths since Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health Website, there have been 245 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 22,789, with 3,615 hospitalizations, 91 of which are intubated.

Currently, 360,858 tests (approximately 94% of all coronavirus tests in the state) have turned up negative.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 110,138.
