Washington reports over 1,730 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll is 4,318 after announcing 33 new deaths since Friday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health website, there have been 1,738 new known cases of coronavirus reported over the past weekend.

Negative test results data from November 21 to 30, 2020, and January 5 through today, are incomplete. Thus, negative test results and percent positivity should be interpreted with caution.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 313,335 with 725 current hospitalizations, 90 of whom are intubated.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 454,103.
