Take your kids on a virtual field trip thanks to the Pacific Science Center

Forget about in-person field trips and turn your living room into a laboratory with the Pacific Science Center’s Virtual Field Trips.

Designed for small groups of students, PacSci’s educators come to you live from their Curiosity Studio and lead students through workshops, activities, and demonstrations that feature several STEM activities.

Some of our favorite offerings include Radical Reactions, where students discover the signs of chemical reactions through experimentation and learn how this creates the world around them, Animal Adventure, where students compare different species and learn how adaptations help them survive, as well as Robots on Mars, which teaches students how robots can be used for exploration.

Additional field trips can be found online.

Those wishing to entertain their kids during winter break can enjoy Virtual Field Trips by donation. Online registration is required.

Each private program is 40 minutes long, and prices start at $200 for up to 50 participants.
