The only 4 vegan and vegetarian spots open for Thanksgiving in Seattle

Although many restaurants are offering Vegetarian options, not many fully vegan/vegetarian places are keeping their doors open this Thanksgiving season.

Here are the only four vegan and vegetarian restaurants open in Seattle this Thursday, November 28.

Known for their seasonally changing menu, enjoy a fully vegan Thanksgiving dinner at Cafe Flora. The fixed first and second courses include a salad and crispy potato rosti, while the third and fourth courses offer options to pick from.

The main course options include a golden filo parcel with brown butter leeks, butternut squash, walnuts, and cheese served with autumn greens and a root vegetable smash, or chanterelles, wild rice, and stuffed squash served with braised red cabbage. A children’s set menu is also available for $25. Reservations are required and can be made through the phone.

For only $17.95, enjoy a fixed menu of corn chowder soup, roast chicken puff appetizer, fresh-baked yam with pineapple and orange sauce, sauteed fresh broccoli, smoked vegetarian turkey, mixed nut and vegetable stuffing, and apple pie. The holiday spreads come in three fully-vegan options: The Chef’s Table with a maple glazed seitan roast, The Farmer’s Daughter with peppered tofu steak, and The Harvest Festival, a gluten-free frilled sausage with harissa sauce, lentils and riced cauliflower date pilaf. While not all Veggiegrill locations are keeping their doors open, you’re in luck if you live by University Village. Along with their full menu, a Turkey Dinner Sandwich and Thanksgiving plate will be available for order. Both Downtown Seattle and South Lake Union locations will be closed.
