What to eat in and around Seattle today: The Westy

Apr 22 2021, 7:13 pm

Whether you’re trying to watch a game or simply want to enjoy some bar food in a lively atmosphere, The Westy is the happenin’ place to be.

Besides having televisions scattered throughout their restaurant, The Westy offers a seasonally rotating food menu created by Chef Christopher Hartfield and his team.

You can also pick from a well-curated list of beers and ciders and over 120 bottles of whiskey.

If you’re just stopping by for a quick snack, go for the pretzel bites, seared broccoli, Thai lettuce wraps, chicken wings, or Irish nachos loaded with cheddar cheese, scallions, olives, bacon, jalapenos, guacamole, and sour cream.

If you’re stopping by for dinner, a burger and sandwich, or flatbread may tickle your fancy. All burgers and sandos are served with a choice of tater tots or Caesar salad.

To end off your meal, order the mini churros, croissant beignets, or Butterfinger bites. You won’t regret it.
