What to eat in and around Seattle today: Sugar Hill Seattle

Open six days a week, Sugar Hill in Seattle is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the city.
Although their restaurant looks more like a hip-hop haven rather than an authentic Thai spot, their flavors will convince you otherwise.

We recommend starting with a few of their Gub Gam Thai-style small plates to share.
We love the Tao Hu Tod tofu pillows, Sai Ua homemade grilled Thai sausage, Beek Gai Tod deep-fried chicken wings, and Pla Mouk Yang grilled calamari with spicy “crack” sauce.

Next, pick a main. The Khao Mun tod chicken rice is delicious, as is all of their noodle soups.

To finish, go for some of Kryse’s Handcrafted Ice Cream, champagne mango and sweet sticky rice, or Roti Wan Thai pancake.

We also recommend visiting during Sugar Hill’s happy hour from 4 to 6 pm where you can enjoy $2 off cocktails, $1 off draft beer, wine, and well drinks, and $1 off Gub Gam.
Sugar Hill is currently open on Tuesday to Thursday, and Sunday from 4 to 10 pm, as well as Friday and Saturday from 4 pm to 12 am. Those interested in dining at home can enjoy pickup or delivery through Tock.
