What to eat in and around Seattle today: Betty

Apr 8 2021, 7:41 pm

Pop into Betty along Queen Anne Avenue for wonderful bistro-style eats.

The female-owned restaurant uses seasonal ingredients to whip up delicious and comforting dishes that look as gorgeous as they taste.

When the weather heats up, those 21+ can enjoy seasonal fare and drinks on the restaurant’s secluded and charming patio.

Betty is currently running mostly as a take-and-bake spot these days, serving up pierogies, family-sized chicken pot pie, and lasagna to go.

If you’re eating in, we recommend the beet salad, charcuterie plate, as well as the ribeye steak and hand-cut fries.

The bouillabaisse with manilla clams, prawns, halibut, cod, fingerling potatoes, tomato-fennel broth, and grilled bread is a showstopper that is available for both dine-in and heat at home.

Of course, you can’t wash down your meal with just anything. We recommend trying a cocktail kit or spirit flight with three full two-ounce pours.
