The St. Patrick's Day parade returns to Seattle on March 14

Mar 4 2020, 7:45 pm

All eyes will turn to Seattle streets on March 14 as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade descends upon the city.

The annual pageant of giant balloons, floats, mascots, clowns, marching bands, and beloved Irish characters is one of the most-loved events in March.

The massive festivities kick off at twenty-past noon, as an Irish Flag is raised in front of the King County Administration Building, followed by trumpeters playing both the Irish and US National Anthems.

The parade itself will begin at approximately 12:30 on 4th avenue at James Street, following 4th Avenue north up to the reviewing stand at Westlake Park.
