With an outdated website and a worn-down mall location, you wouldn’t expect some of the city’s best noodles to come out of Seven Stars Pepper Szechwan Restaurant — yet shockingly, they do.

With over 15 types of dishes to choose from, you may be a little overwhelmed by your options. No matter what you decide on, skip the soft noodles and opt for the hand-shaven ones.

Seven Stars’ noodles are the perfect amount of chewy and cut so perfectly that they pick up just enough sauce to be satisfying.

The restaurant is open Monday to Friday and located at 1207 S Jackson Street inside Ding How Center.
