Diwali is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, and Buddhists across the world. It also coincides with the Sikh holiday Bandi Chhor Divas. This year, Diwali and Bandi Chhor Divas will take place on November 14.
Like Thanksgiving or Christmas, Diwali is a time to celebrate with family, share food, and make memories.
Even if you don’t typically celebrate the holiday, now’s a great time to support small businesses while sharing food with your loved ones.

The last Sunday of the month is our favorite time to go to Bengal Tiger in Roosevelt, as it’s when they serve their Sunday dinner buffet. The dinner buffet typically consists of mixed naan breads, different types of rice, dairy-free options, and vegan options. The buffet also includes soups, salads, and meals such as Lamb Bhuna, Spicy Bangla wings, and samosas.
