Try Pakistani soul food at one of Seattle's newest hotspot

Nov 10 2020, 12:01 am

Pakistan has been gaining attention over the past few months, largely in part thanks to a certain meme — if you know, you know.

Seattleite Nasir Zubair is keeping up the momentum with his new Pakistani Soul Food pop-up, Karachi Cowboys.

Located in Fair Isle Brewing, the pop-up is open Sundays from 12 to 7 pm.

Those who’ve never had Pakistani cuisine will open their taste buds to a whole new array of spices.

Enjoy everything from aloo sliders (savory golden potato patties on a Hawaiian roll with housemade tamarind bbq sauce), channa masala chickpea stew, kheema (halal beef simmered with garlic, ginger, fresh ground spices, and sweet peas), as well as snacks such as popcorn topped with a secret blend of spices.
